The Urban League of Nebraska will be celebrating 80 years of service during the Biennial Whitney M. Young Jr. Memorial Gala.
This year’s black tie event’s mistress of ceremonies will be Jana Murrell of KETV and entertainment provided by DJ Soull. We will recognize community and civic leaders who have contributed to the overall improvement in the quality of life of citizens in the Omaha community. It will feature a silent auction, recognition of community members along with Urban League scholarship recipients from local high schools and colleges who demonstrate leadership in their communities and display a spirit of excellence in their chosen areas of study. The evening will conclude with a dance and a chance for networking with community and civic leaders throughout Nebraska.
